Tactical gear complements natural abilities
Without the right tactical gear to perform their duties, even the best brain and well-built person might flounder, both in the routine discharge of duties, or when emergencies crop up. While the right gear is important for every human being, police tactical gear is of utmost importance for policemen, because discharge of duties and emergencies are too often inextricably mixed up in their world. They are people trained to handle daily emergencies.
Something like a pepper spray can be everybody’s tactical gear for it is a handy weapon against antisocial elements. When you find yourself in a physically unsafe or unwelcome situation, more possibilities are that you may not be armed. A knife or a gun may be an asset during such an eventuality, but besides the fact that you are not likely to have one, wielding a knife or a gun, even if you have one, is not advisable, because by using it, you could even end up on the wrong side of the law.
Carrying a pepper spray aerosol as tactical gear would solve the problem substantially because all you have to do during an emergency is squirt the pepper spray aerosol straight on to the enemy’s face. The jet of hot spray would temporarily immobilize the enemy and you will get enough time to escape, if not retaliate. The spray complements the presence of mind.
A pepper spray can be part of police tactical gear as well, but it cannot be policemen’s sole tactical gear. They need equipment of several types, one of which is tactical boots. The nature of their jobs force policemen to tread on most hostile earth, and tactical boots are fully designed to combat nature’s hostility in the best possible way, enabling policemen to function without losing speed and mobility. There are tactical boots fit for the marshiest of places, or sand dunes, or knee-deep waters, or rocky terrains. Many of these boots are ideal police tactical gear, as well as essential gear for backpackers, and trekkers.
Tactical boots designed as tactical gear for deserts, have side vents to keep the feet cool. Many different types of tactical boots have side zippers that make them easy to wear. Some tactical boots are designed to be worn in places that are slippery, and so are fitted with soles that are oil and slip resistant. Yet others are waterproof and are also resistant to waterborne worms or insects and bloodsuckers like leeches. While the different types of tactical boots described above can be used by anyone, some boots have a concealed pocket on the upper side. A small knife can be hidden in this pocket and such boots are meant primarily to be police tactical gear, designed to enhance their natural crime prevention skills.
