This is the Smith&wesson special knife that made from 440C that is one of the hardest and best Stainless steel, and it coated with titanium, titanium make it lighter and harder and you won’t need to sharp it for a longtime! It has wonderful box and lifetime Warranty,it’s not like freaky chinese knifes that are in all stores across America!I bought it and it is very sharp and nice knife!also it has pocket clip, and frame lock, frame lock is only for expensive knifes and is a lot better than linerlock, this knife is very good for collection also.

Prices for this knive vary greatly from ten dollars to twenty-something, but for those looking for a great entry level folding knife, this Smith & Wesson should be one to consider. First, it’s a framelock knife, not a linerlock. In my view, linerlocks are a waste of money unless they’ve got a safety on them, like many of CRKT’s folders. Framelocks offer greater strength and are less apt to fail when subjected to twisting and spine whacks. Lockbacks and axis locks are even more secure, but for the price, this knife is solid enough.
Because this knife has serrations, that means only one side of the blade is ground, or sharpened. So when the edge dulls, don’t try sharpening the right side of the knife or you’ll screw things up. You may also need a bit more of an angle, too.
Some knife pundits will tell you that S&W knives are junk. Some of them are, but many are not. Try steering away from any linerlock, which is the most popular type of knife for this price. Also, stay away from most Gerbers unless you know what you’re buying. They’re now making blades out of the same junk steel they used to be making the liners out of.
